Rhanda, also known as Rhanna is an Imperial Mining World in the Segmentum Solar, and was the first planet to be conquered by Cardinal Bucharis during the Plague of Unbelief. The mines of the world gave Bucharis the sufficient resources to build his gigantic Cardinal Palace. He also met Admiral Sehalla and Colonel Gasto here, who formed the basis of his fighting force.

It was a desolate, dark planet and was chosen by its inhabitants because of its distance from Terra. They constantly tried to destroy all links with the Imperium, due to their being outcasts. Mutants and psykers resided here. Magnus fit in very well with this group due to his incredible management of psychic powers.

Methalor is a Hive World in the Segmentum Solar and the last world that rose up before Confessor Dolan Chirosius reached Gathalamor on his crusade to destroy Cardinal Bucharis during the Plague of Unbelief. They achieved this by overloading the geo-thermal power grid, causing the entire principle Hive to explode.

Mars is the 4th planet of the Sol system. It is the domain, headquarters and principle Forge World of the Adeptus Mechanicus. The proximity of Mars to Terra and it's massive industrial and technological base make Mars a vital strategic location. To that end, it is the Segmentum fortress of Segmentum Solar and the base of Battlefleet Solar. Mars is also defended by various orbital platforms and Titan Legions.

Mackan, Segmentum Solar, was the site of a major battle between the Blood Angels and Khorne Berzerkers led by Abaddon the Despoiler. The Blood Angels were slaughtered in an epic battle in 811.M37 during the 7th Black Crusade.

Krourk is a Death World located in the Armageddon Sector. It is a heavy gravity steppe world and is considered of little value to the Imperium except for the native Ogryns found there. Imperial administratum officials occasionally mount missions to the surface to kidnap tribes of Ogryns of use on the front lines of Armageddon sector, making the Krourk Ogryn Auxilia.

Gathalamor is an Imperial world in the Segmentum Solar, to the galactic south-west of Terra. The planet's population was not rich and many lived in abject poverty. Cardinal Bucharis took over and enslaved the population during the Plague of Unbelief and had them build a gigantic Cardinal Palace. He also took a large number of thugs and cut-throats and assaulted the nearby world of Rhanda. The resulting empire made Gathalamor fairly rich, although Bucharis' ideas on survival of the fittest meant many of the poorest died.

At the end of the Plague of Unbelief, Confessor Dolan Chirosius arrived and was flogged across the planet by Bucharis. He then put Dolan on trial and killed him. The population rose up and killed Bucharis, leaving a small pile of ashes marking his body. From then on, the planet was back under the rule of Terra and remains under it to this day.

El'Phanor is a Dead World in the Segmentum Solar. It was once home to the Citadel of Kromarch but was crushed during the 4th Black Crusade in 001.M34. It is located to the galactic south east of the Eye of Terror, directly in the path of forces heading towards Terra from the Eye.

The planet was conquered by Abaddon the Despoiler and led to the complete devastation of the entire planetary system.

Catachan is a Death World located in the Segmentum Solar, a planet almost completely covered in dense jungle where it seems the entire ecosystem is hostile to human life. Catachan's only export is its people, who through natural selection are naturally bred tough and strong from living in such a dangerous world.
